What applies to music making in an ensemble can also be transferred to artist management: not only do artists, agents and organisers have to bring the necessary skills with them, but through their different voices, personalities, communication and interaction they can lay the foundations for something special to emerge. Konzertdirektion Hampl have a hand-picked roster of artists that is of a size and scope that allows personal communication that works towards building a sustainable career. One focus is the Europe-wide representations of chamber ensembles, particularly string quartets – including groups such as the winners of the Banff International String Quartet Competition in Canada. The wide range of artists is complemented with early music ensembles, world renowned soloists and orchestral touring which also includes extraordinary cross-genre and collaborative projects. In putting together programmes, both artists and promoters will have the benefit of many years or dramaturgical expertise and fundamental musicological knowledge.
