Reviews

The Mendelssohn Kammerorchester Leipzig itself is absolutely cosmopolitan; they tour around the entire world from Australia to South America. There the musicians have the opportunity to try out and modify a programme – and so this CD is coagulated concert atmosphere, hardly any cuts were necessary, as the programme has really sunk in. This kind of liveliness is found very rarely in a CD production. WDR3 Tonart | CD Kosmopolit Mendelssohn | Claus Fischer | May 2018
